Job Summary
- We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Account Clerk to join our restaurant team in Leme, Abeokuta.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, maintaining financial records, and ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for daily restaurant operations
- Process invoices, receipts, payments, and bank deposits
- Assist with payroll preparation and staff records
- Monitor and reconcile petty cash transactions
- Support inventory and stock management with proper documentation
- Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries as required
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and relevant financial regulations
- Collaborate with the restaurant management team on budget and cost tracking
Requirements
- Minimum of OND or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience in a similar role is an added advantage
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information responsibly
- Must reside in or around Leme, Abeokuta.
Salary
- N40,000 – N60,000 Monthly.
