Job Title: Account Officer

Location: Ojota, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Journal Entries: Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are accurately recorded
  • Accounts Receivable: Updating accounts receivable and issuing invoices to clients
  • Accounts Payable: Updating accounts payable and performing reconciliations to ensure accuracy
  • Financial Statements: Assisting in the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements in accordance with legal and company accounting guidelines
  • Expense Review: Reviewing expenses, payroll records, and other assigned tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Financial Data Management: Updating financial data in databases to ensure accuracy and timely availability of information
  • Reporting: Preparing and submitting weekly and monthly reports to management
  • Month-End/Year-End Closings: Assisting senior accountants in the preparation of monthly and yearly closings
  • Special Projects: Assisting with other accounting projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 2-5 years experience.

Salary

  • N100,000 – N110,000 / Month.
