Summary of Responsibilities

• The Accounting Officer will play a vital role in managing the financial operations of the eye hospital, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.

Key Responsibilities
Manage Payroll

• Oversee payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

HMO Management:

• Update HMO bills and payments.
• Negotiate payment plans and settlements with debtors.
• Reconcile HMO accounts with bills.
• Send demand notices to HMOs.

Tax and Compliance:

• Prepare PAYE remittance.
• Prepare Pension remittance.
• Prepare NSITF and ITF monthly returns.
• File Monthly Nil VAT returns.
• Manage tax-related issues.
