Job Summary

• Record and analyze financial information, prepare reports, and ensure that businesses and individuals comply with financial regulations.

Reporting:

• Accountants report their findings to management and other entities, such as the IRS or investors.
• These reports help investors, lenders, and customers assess a company’s financial health.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax planning: Offer tax planning services based on current legislation
• Forecast finances: Help businesses forecast costs and revenues
• Manage accounting procedures:Oversee accounting procedures and advise on general finance matters
• Record transactions: Track money coming in and out of a business
• Prepare reports: Compile and present budgets, financial statements, and other reports
• Analyze data: Identify potential areas of risk and opportunity
• Perform audits: Verify that a business’s financial records are accurate
• Compute taxes: Ensure that taxes are paid properly

Requirements
