Job Title: Accountant (Female Only)

Job Summary
- The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing accounting tasks, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- This role involves various accounting functions, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and assisting with audits.
- The Accountant plays a crucial role in providing timely and accurate financial information to support informed business decisions.
Responsibilities
General Ledger and Journal Entries:
- Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
- Maintain and update the chart of accounts.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
Account Reconciliation:
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies.
Financial Reporting:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Generate and analyze financial reports for management.
- Prepare variance analysis and provide explanations for fluctuations.
Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable:
- Process invoices and payments for accounts payable.
- Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections.
- Maintain accurate vendor and customer records.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.
Audit Support:
- Provide supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules.
- Ensure compliance with audit recommendations.
Internal Controls:
- Maintain and enforce internal control procedures.
- Identify and recommend improvements to internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP or IFRS as applicable.
Month-End/Year-End Close:
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare and review closing entries.
- Maintain organized financial records.
Other Duties:
- Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
- Provide support to other finance team members.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- (Preferred) Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA)
Experience:e.
- (Mid-Level) 3-5 years of accounting experience..
Skills:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices (GAAP or IFRS).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle NetSuite).
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
