Job Description
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our team.
- The successful candidate will assist in managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- This role is ideal for a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in accounting within the furniture production industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including general ledger entries and reconciliations.
- Support the processing of accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Aid in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. – Help in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Site Audit.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Assist with inventory management and cost tracking of production materials.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather and verify financial data.
- Participate in internal audits and provide necessary documentation.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Must be currently enrolled in the NYSC program or about to start.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in Zohosoftware and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
Salary
N90,000 – N100,000 / Month.
