Location: Gwagwalada, Abuja (FCT)

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactiveAccounts and Administrative Officerto manage financial transactions, oversee administrative tasks, and ensure efficient inventory management.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, clarifying purchases, managing company assets, and providing timely reports to the CFO.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Management:

  • Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and receipts.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial reporting.
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow and expenses.
  • Prepare anddocumentumentationin compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Track and manage company inventory, ensuring accurate stock records.
  • Verify and clarify purchase orders, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely procurement of goods and services.
  • Conduct periodic inventory audits and report discrepancies to the Procurement and CFO.

Administrative Duties:

  • Handle office correspondence, including emails, etc
  • Maintain and update company records, both digital and physical.
  • Assist in organizing company meetingsand logistics.
  • Support HR functions such as staff records and payroll processing (if required).

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-3 years in accounting, administration, or inventory management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accurate records and detect discrepancies.
  • Integrity: High level of honesty and confidentiality in handling financial data.

Salary

  • N150,000 – N200,000 per month.
