Job Summary
- To support the accounts unit majorly with documentation, record keeping, data entry and maintaining books of accounts while gaining practical experience and workplace skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep and maintain cash book, journals, andgeneral ledgers.
- Assist in procurementand ensure proper documentationof purchase requests.
- Assist in maintainingschedules of statutory payments in the database.
- Assist in bank runs and submission of payment instructions.
- Assist with proper and timely documentation of all records for the accounts unit.
- Assist in the extraction ofinformation frombank statements for preparation of annual financial accounts and monthly cash flow reports.
- Data entry.
Qualifications
- A Degree in Accounting.
- Strong interest in the role plus willingness to learn &grow into a permanent role.
- Good numeric skills.
- Detail orientation.
- Good written and verbal communication.
