Job Title: Admin/HR Assistant
Location: Lekki, Lagos

Role Summary
- The Admin/HR Assistant will provide administrative and human resources support to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- This role involves managing employee records, assisting with recruitment and onboarding, handling payroll support, maintaining compliance with labor regulations, and coordinating office administration.
- This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
Duties
- Maintain and organize employee records, contracts, and confidential files.
- Manage office supplies, correspondence, and restaurant documentation.
- Assist with payroll processing, ensuring accurate attendance and overtime records.
- Coordinate meetings, staff training sessions, and company events.
- Support the management team with reports, data entry, and documentation.
- Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks.
- Handle onboarding and orientation for new hires, ensuring proper documentation.
- Maintain and track employee attendance, leave requests, and shift schedules.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
- Support employee relations by addressing staff concerns and escalating issues as needed.
- Assist in performance management by collecting employee feedback and supporting appraisal processes.
- Coordinate staff engagement initiatives, such as team-building activities and recognition programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field
- HR certification is an advantage.
- 1–3 years of experience in an HR role, preferably in the hospitality or food service industry.
- Knowledge of HR processes, labor laws, and payroll administration.
- Experience with HR software, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and record-keeping.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and scheduling systems is a plus.
