Job Title: Administrative/Account Officer

Location: Asaba, Delta

Employment Type: Full-time

Position Summary

  • The Admin/Account Officer will handle day-to-day administrative duties while managing accounts, processing financial transactions, and maintaining accurate records. This role is critical for ensuring smooth operations and financial compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage general office administration including correspondence, scheduling, and office supplies
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
  • Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and reports
  • Handle payroll processing and maintain employee records
  • Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for company transactions
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting
  • Maintain organized filing systems for important documents and contracts
  • Support the management team with administrative tasks and special projects
  • Liaise with clients regarding account status and payment issues
  • Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and tax requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in administrative roles with accounting responsibilities
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Good understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
  • Familiarity with Nigerian tax regulations and financial reporting requirements
  • Experience in the tech industry is a plus.
