Job Title: Administrative Manager
Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Summary
- The administrative manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all administrative operations of the organization, with a key focus on fleet management, facility maintenance, and general office operations.
- This role ensures that resources are used efficiently, facilities are maintained at high standards, and the organization’s support functions operate smoothly and cost-effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Fleet Management:
- Oversee the procurement, registration, insurance and maintenance of company vehicles.
- Monitor vehicle usage, fuel consumption, servicing schedules, and driver performance.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and internal policies.
- Implement tracking systems (GPS or logbooks) to ensure accountability and operational efficiency.
- Manage relationships with vendors, mechanics, and fleet service providers.
Facility Management:
- Ensure the office environment, and the entire facilities are clean, safe, functional, and in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Supervise maintenance and repair of office infrastructure (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.).
- Oversee contracts and service agreements for facility management, cleaning, security, and utility services.
- Coordinate office renovations, space planning, and relocations when necessary.
General Operations:
- Coordinate procurement and inventory of office supplies, consumables, and operational tools.
- Develop and enforce administrative policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
- Supervise administrative support staff (cleaners, drivers, maintenance workers, etc.).
- Manage vendor relationships and service level agreements for outsourced services.
- Support budgeting and cost-control measures for admin-related expenses.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting on administrative functions.
- Provide logistical support for company events, meetings, and travel.
Qualifications
- Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 2 – 4 years work experience.
Salary
- N180,000 – N220,000 monthly.
