Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Asset Management

Description 

  • Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to spearhead sales efforts within designated regions.
  • This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and enhancing the bank’s Asset Management portfolio.
  • The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a strong track record in sales management within the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement area-specific sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales agents, ensuring they meet individual and collective sales targets.
  • Identify and capitalize on market opportunities, driving penetration and business expansion.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and industry partners.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to refine sales approaches and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and operations, to optimize sales performance.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on sales performance, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies while maintaining high ethical standards.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of a 2:2 Bachelor’s Degree of HND Upper Credit in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • A proven track record in sales management within banking, investment, or financial services.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze market trends and sales performance.
  • Banking Officer Grade or higher preferred
  • Strong knowledge of asset management products
