Job Title: Assets Identification Officer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Type: Permanent/Full-time

Job Description

• Physically tag, engrave, or label all company assets using appropriate methods (manual or electronic engravers, labeling machines, etc.)
• Assign unique asset identification numbers in accordance with company asset classification standards
• Maintain accurate records of tagged and engraved assets, including asset type, location, serial numbers, and assigned codesAssist the asset management team in verifying and reconciling asset records with physical inventory.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure newly acquired assets are properly tagged and recorded before deployment.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND in a Technical or Administrative field; a Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related discipline is an added advantage
• At least 1–2 years’ experience in asset tagging, inventory control, warehousing, or a related field
• Hands-on experience with labeling and engraving equipment is an added advantage.
• May involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Occasional work in stores, warehouse and Operations workshop in Base 1 and WCD.
• Use of hand tools and engraving equipment is required.
