Key Responsibilities

As the Assistant Manager, Human Resources, you will:

  • Recruitment & Selection: Assist in the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing candidates, conducting initial screening, and coordinating interviews.
  • Onboarding: Develop and implement effective onboarding programs for new hires.
  • Employee Relations: Handle employee inquiries, address concerns, and assist in resolving employee relations issues.
  • Training & Development: Support the development and implementation of training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Performance Management: Assist in the performance review process, including data analysis and reporting.
  • HR Administration: Maintain employee records, ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations, and assist with HR-related projects.
  • Employee Engagement: Contribute to initiatives that foster a positive and engaging work environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach with a strong work ethic.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional certifications such as CIPM, CIPD, SHRM or equivalent is compulsory to have.
