Job Title: Audit Executive

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Working Hours: Monday – Saturday (8am – 6pm)

Position Overview

  • We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Audit Executive to join our team.
  • The Audit Executive will play a key role in evaluating and improving the organization’s financial and operational processes.
  • This position involves planning and conducting audits, identifying areas of risk, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing actionable recommendations to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities
Audit Planning and Execution:

  • Develop audit plans and programs based on risk assessments and organizational priorities.
  • Conduct internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of financial, operational, and compliance controls.
  • Review and analyze financial statements, reports, and operational processes for accuracy and adherence to policies.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

  • Identify potential risks, weaknesses, and areas of non-compliance in organizational processes.
  • Recommend practical solutions to mitigate risks and enhance internal controls.

Compliance and Regulations:

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, statutory regulations, and industry standards.
  • Stay updated on changes in regulatory requirements and ensure the organization adapts accordingly.
  • Conduct compliance audits to assess adherence to laws and regulations.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare clear and concise audit reports, highlighting key findings, risks, and recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate records of audit activities and findings for future reference.

Collaboration and Advisory:

  • Collaborate with departments to address audit findings and implement process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2 – 5 years proven experience in auditing, accounting, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of audit principles, internal controls, and risk management.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools.

Key Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in evaluating data and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and audit software tools.

Salary

  • N130,000 – N160,000 Monthly.
