Job Overview
- We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Teller/Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Bank One and microfinance banking operations, delivering excellent customer service while handling teller responsibilities effectively.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and addressing inquiries regarding banking products, account information, and transactions.
- Conduct routine teller transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and check cashing, adhering to banking procedures and protocols.
- Maintain an accurate cash drawer and reconcile transactions at the end of each shift, ensuring compliance with cash handling policies.
- Assist customers in opening and closing accounts, explaining product features, and guiding them through account-related processes.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer issues or discrepancies, escalating complex matters as necessary.
- Stay updated on Bank One standards and microfinance banking operations to ensure accurate information dissemination and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Promote banking products and services to customers, identifying opportunities to meet their financial needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum of OND degree in Banking, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in a customer service or teller role within the banking industry, preferably in microfinance banking, with familiarity in Bank One operations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling cash transactions and banking procedures.
- Knowledge of basic banking software and computer proficiency.
