Job Title: Bank Treasurer

Location: Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Generate revenue through new account development and maintain key account relationships
    Define and implement marketing processes, ensuring their seamless execution.
  • Develop and present relevant business proposals tailored to client and market needs.
  • Monitor market intelligence, tracking industry trends, new projects, competitive activities, and customer developments.
  • Conduct and lead meetings with key clients, fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of banking products, recommending strategic alignments for optimal outcomes.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance organizational effectiveness and achieve corporate goals.
  • Ensure consistent follow-through, leveraging resourcefulness to meet and exceed organizational objectives.
  • Assume responsibility for cash management procedure
  • Manage the company’s investment activity and make decision
  • Assist in the development of financingstrategies
  • Maintain relations with banks and rating agencies
  • Ensuring sufficient finance available for operating and other activities
  • Ensuring smooth conduct of business
  • preparing a budget that predicts expected expenses and estimates income
  • Submit reports of the present financial situation and forecasting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. Relevant certifications
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Bank Treasurer in a microfinance bank.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
