Job Title: Bilingual Japanese-English Account Manager

Location: Knoxville, TN

Salary: $60K/yr – $100K/yr

We are seeking a bilingual (Japanese-English) Account Manager to manage existing clients and develop new business opportunities. This role requires leveraging bilingual communication skills and cultural knowledge to support customers and achieve sales goals.

Essential Duties

  • Client Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • New Business Development: Identify and acquire new clients, with a focus on Japanese businesses in the U.S.
  • Technical Support: Respond to product or service inquiries and resolve client issues effectively.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Market Research: Analyze customer needs and market trends to contribute to product improvement and business strategies.
  • Internal Coordination: Collaborate with sales teams and internal departments to fulfill customer requirements and ensure timely delivery.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales and activity reports to management.

Working Hours & Style

  • Full-time, Monday through Friday
  • Core Hours: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (Flexibility may be required)
  • Hybrid or remote work arrangements available upon discussion

Working Location

  • Reno, Nevada
  • Knoxville, Tennessee
  • (Choice of location. Domestic travel may be required based on business needs.)

Salary & Benefits

  • Annual Salary: $60,000–$100,000 (DOE: Depending on Experience)

Qualifications

Required:

  • Fluency in both Japanese and English (business-level communication skills in writing, reading, and speaking)
  • Minimum of 3 years of corporate sales experience
  • Proven success in managing accounts and generating new business
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools

Preferred:

  • Experience in the cutting tools or manufacturing industry
  • Familiarity with Japanese corporate culture and experience working with Japanese clients
  • Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
