Job Title: Bilingual Japanese-English Account Manager
Location: Knoxville, TN
Salary: $60K/yr – $100K/yr
Summary
- Our company is a leading distributor of high-quality cutting tools. We are dedicated to understanding our customers’ needs and building strong relationships to provide the best solutions and services. We are seeking a bilingual (Japanese-English) Account Manager to manage existing clients and develop new business opportunities. This role requires leveraging bilingual communication skills and cultural knowledge to support customers and achieve sales goals.
Essential Duties
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- New Business Development: Identify and acquire new clients, with a focus on Japanese businesses in the U.S.
- Technical Support: Respond to product or service inquiries and resolve client issues effectively.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Market Research: Analyze customer needs and market trends to contribute to product improvement and business strategies.
- Internal Coordination: Collaborate with sales teams and internal departments to fulfill customer requirements and ensure timely delivery.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales and activity reports to management.
Working Hours & Style
- Full-time, Monday through Friday
- Core Hours: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (Flexibility may be required)
- Hybrid or remote work arrangements available upon discussion
Working Location
- Reno, Nevada
- Knoxville, Tennessee
- (Choice of location. Domestic travel may be required based on business needs.)
Salary & Benefits
- Annual Salary: $60,000–$100,000 (DOE: Depending on Experience)

Qualifications
Required:
- Fluency in both Japanese and English (business-level communication skills in writing, reading, and speaking)
- Minimum of 3 years of corporate sales experience
- Proven success in managing accounts and generating new business
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools
Preferred:
- Experience in the cutting tools or manufacturing industry
- Familiarity with Japanese corporate culture and experience working with Japanese clients
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
