Job Summary

• The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee branch activities, ensuring the achievement of sales targets, and maintaining strong client relationships with a focus on good repayment records and low loan defaults. Additionally, the Branch Manager is responsible for staff management, fostering a positive work environment, ensuring customer satisfaction, and efficient branch operation.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Direct all operational aspects of the branch.
• Evaluate local market conditions and identify existing and potential sales opportunities.
• Analyze potential loan markets and establish referral networks to identify loan prospects.
• Attain monthly sales targets for all products offered within the branch.
• Generate periodic sales reports for all product lines.
• Manage the branch budget and allocate funds effectively.
• Cultivate the potential of branch personnel through training, coaching, development, and motivation.
• Identify areas for improvement and suggest corrective actions to address challenges and leverage growth opportunities.
• Share knowledge of effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities, and needs with other branches and the head office.
• Address customer and employee satisfaction issues in a timely manner.
• Uphold high ethical standards and comply with all relevant regulations and laws.
• Network to enhance the branch and company’s presence and reputation.
• Stay informed about competing markets and provide reports on market trends and penetration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or a related field.

Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a financial institution.
