Job Title: Building Management System Operator
Location: Abuja
Job Summary:
- This is a full-time on-site role as a BMS Operator/Technician located in Abuja at Tsebo Rapid Nigeria Limited.
- The BMS Operator/Technician is responsible for the efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the Building Management System to ensure optimal performance of building systems, including HVAC, lighting, and security systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control the Building Management System to ensure building systems operate efficiently.
- Perform regular system checks to identify and address faults. Experience in Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
- Conduct routine maintenance on BMS hardware and software.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with HVAC, lighting, and other connected systems.
- Maintain and repair sensors, controllers, and other BMS components. Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Analyze energy data to identify opportunities for optimization.
- Adjust settings and schedules to maximize system efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of system performance, maintenance activities, and repairs.
- Prepare regular reports on system efficiency and incident resolution.
- Ensure all BMS operations comply with safety regulations and building codes.
- Implement energy conservation measures in line with organizational policies.
- Work closely with facility management, contractors, and other technical teams to ensure smooth building operations.
- Assist in training staff on the use of BMS tools and equipment.
Education & Experience:
- Education: Diploma or degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Control Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in BMS operations, maintenance, or a related role.
Skills:
- Proficiency in BMS software (e.g., Tridium, Siemens, Honeywell).
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and control systems.
- Basic understanding of IT networks and their integration with BMS.
