Job Title: Business Development Intern (NYSC)
Location: Ikeja (GRA), Lagos
Employment Type: NYSC – Onsite Internship (Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm)
Role Overview
- As a Business Development Intern, you will support the team in identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and contributing to revenue growth strategies.
- This is a learning-heavy, fast-paced role for someone with a passion for sales, marketing, and strategic thinking.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying potential clients, industries, and partnership opportunities
- Conduct market and competitor research to support sales and outreach strategies
- Prepare pitch materials, proposals, and presentations
- Support the team with lead generation and client follow-ups
- Help maintain the CRM system and track engagement
- Attend strategy sessions and client meetings where necessary
- Perform other business development and administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Currently undergoing NYSC
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Excellent research, documentation, and presentation abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Curious, proactive, and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment
(Nice-to-Have):
- Experience with Canva, Notion, or CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot)
- Familiarity with digital marketing or creative agency processes
- Previous sales or outreach experience
