Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
  • Develop and execute result-driven business development strategies.
  • Lead contract negotiations and close high-value deals.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform proactive strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Executive teams.
  • Prepare detailed reports, forecasts, and presentations for the team and clients.

Qualifications

  • Must be a First-Class Graduate from a reputable and recognized university in Nigeria or foreign University.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Master’s or other relevant degree is a strong plus — we value advanced insight and expertise.
  • Professional certifications in business strategy, sales, or project management are a plus.
  • COREN certification is an added advantage
  • Engineering experience is an added advantage, especially if you’ve worked in tech, infrastructure, energy, or manufacturing sectors.

Other Requirements:

  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
  • 5+ years of proven success in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g Salesforce, Zoho)
  • Self-starter mindset with a results-driven approach to growth.
  • Strong analytical and organization skills with attention to detail
  • Comfortable navigating both corporate and startup environments.
