Role Description

  • We are looking for a full-time Business Development Manager to join our team in Lagos. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase sales and market share, as well as identifying and developing new business opportunities. The Business Development Manager will also be responsible for managing relationships with existing customers and developing relationships with new customers including specifiers, retailers, architects etc.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of the Nigerian construction industry and market trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies
  • Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently, as part of a team and manage for results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and good oral and written presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role managing teams and accountable for quantitative and qualitative targets.
  • Experience in the building materials industry and exposure to e-commerce would be added advantages
