Job Description
- Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to lead the expansion of our new Short Let Apartments located in Ajah.
- With a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences, we are looking for a strategic individual to drive business growth, generate revenue, and establish lasting partnerships.
Responsibilities
Business Development Strategy:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive revenue growth and market share.
- Identify new business opportunities and areas for expansion within the short-term rental marke
Client Acquisition and Retention:
- Proactively identify and engage with corporate clients, travel agencies, and other potential partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
Revenue Generation:
- Meet and exceed revenue targets through effective sales and negotiation strategies.
- Implement pricing and promotional strategies to optimize revenue and occupancy rates.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor strategies, and opportunities for differentiation.
- Analyze data and market insights to make informed decisions and stay ahead of industry developments.
Partnership Development:
- Collaborate with local businesses, event organizers, and other stakeholders to establish mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Negotiate and manage agreements with third-party vendors to enhance guest experiences.
Marketing and Branding:
- Contribute to the development of marketing collateral and promotional materials.
- Work closely with the marketing team to execute effective campaigns and increase brand visibility.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the business development budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and a positive return on investment.
- Provide regular financial reports and forecasts to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the hospitality or real estate industry.
- Strong understanding of the short-term rental market and current industry trends.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to drive initiatives independently.
Requirement:
- Interested candidates must live within the Ajah/Lekki Axis or must be able to make appropriate arrangements for daily commute.
