1). Treasury Officer
Location: Lagos
To assist with all finance and accounting operations
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and ensuring operational bank accounts are funded rightly
- Conducting sweeps – Moving excess funds to interest yielding accounts
- Manages and negotiates banking and brokerage relationships
- Develops and implements cash management operational strategies
- Reviews monthly interest expense and accruals and advices the CFO
- Ensures that all the company’s assets are Insured always
- Approvals of Journal Entries passed in the books by the intern and assistant accounts officer
- Liaise with Business Development Unit on invoices and fees generated monthly
- Prepare and advise on cash flow forecasting
- Analyze and recommend alternative investment avenues for the firm
- Weekly Liquidity report to management
- Advise on FX needs and strategies to hedge again FX risks
- Assisting with Budget preparation and monitoring
- Participating in Audit assignments – Tax, Dividend, Statutory and other audits
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in similar role
- Minimum BSc in Finance or similar course
- Expereince in financial services industry
- Good numerical skills
- Knowledge in accounting
- Knowledge in the use of Mocrosoft tools (Word, Excel, etc)
- Spot and advise on investment opportunities
- Attention to details and confidentiality
- Knowledge in reconciliation of bank statements
- Good team player
- Good listening and communication abilities
- Problem solving skills

2). Graduate Trainee – Investment Sales
Location: Lagos
Summary:
- Portfolio analyst to provide support to the portfolio management team
- To learn and grow with the goal of evolving into an active portfolio manager a senior team member
- Conduct market analyze and provide market data support for the team
- Manage client portfolios, trade on portfolios and manage assets
- Provide support to the IAs were needed
- Analyze financial statements
- Prepare team reports
- Carry out market research and identify suitable investment opportunities
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-year sales experience in the financial industry
Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of Second-Class Honors (Upper Division) in any course
- Master’s degree is an added advantage
- Candidates already participating in the CFA program will be a plus
