Job Description

  • Our client is seeking a Chief of Staff to provide high-level support to the Executive Director.
  • This role is remote, based in Lagos, Nigeria.
  • The successful candidate will be an experienced and proactive individual with a law background.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic guidance and advice to the Executive Director on all matters.
  • Manage and oversee the implementation of the Executive Director’s initiatives and projects.
  • Coordinate and manage the Executive Director’s schedule, including arranging meetings and appointments, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Research and analyze information and data to support the Executive Director’s decision-making processes.
  • Prepare and review correspondence, reports, and other documents on behalf of the Executive Director.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Executive Director and staff, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Ensure the smooth functioning of the organization by identifying and addressing operational issues.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2 – 4 years of experience in a senior management role, preferably in a legal or business environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to think strategically and problem-solve.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Remuneration

  • Salary: N120,000 – N300,000 Monthly (depending on experience)
  • Benefits: 2-week paid time off, health insurance, retirement benefits, phone/data allowance and other perks.
