Title: Chief Operating Officer

Summary:
- The ideal candidate should possess a demonstrated history of transforming existing assets into revenue by implementing strategic and innovative business solutions. We invite individuals with backgrounds in Engineering, Operations, Gas product and solution sales, and business development within the Energy sector, who can contribute to the long-term growth and profitability of the business, to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and management to staff in alignment with the company’s business plan and strategic vision.
- Collaborate with executive team members to cultivate a world-class, industry-leading organization.
- Drive operational and financial success in collaboration with the CFO, CTO, CEO, and other key executives.
- Partner with the CFO to achieve favorable financial outcomes, including sales, profitability, cash flow, mergers and acquisitions, systems, reporting, and controls.
- Set ambitious yet attainable goals for growth, performance, and profitability.
- Develop effective measurement tools to assess the efficiency of internal and external processes.
- Deliver accurate and timely reports on the company’s operational status.
- Lead the development, communication, and execution of growth strategies and processes.
- Collaborate with other C-level executives on budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation initiatives.
- Work closely with the senior management team to establish and implement plans for operational processes, internal structures, reporting systems, and company policies aimed at fostering growth, profitability, and efficiency.
- Motivate and inspire employees at all levels, including professional staff, management, and executive leadership.
- Cultivate strategic partnerships and relationships with clients, vendors, banks, investors, and other professional stakeholders.
- Foster a growth-oriented, positive, and supportive environment while holding employees and management accountable to company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in roles such as COO, Head of Business, Operations Manager, or other allied C-Level Executive positions within the Nigerian Energy and Power sectors.
- A Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Engineering, Technology, or a related discipline is mandatory.
- An MBA or Advanced Degree in Engineering Technology, Business, Management, or Leadership is preferred.
- Demonstrated project management experience specific to the industry.
- Proven track record of driving revenue through the successful implementation of innovative technological solutions in previous roles.
