  • LCP Delta is looking for a specialist to join its investment advisory department which is dedicated to supporting clients investing in the energy transition. With a history of providing market leading analysis, underpinned by decades of cutting-edge research, LCP Delta is looking for the right candidate to help grow its commercial due diligence offering.

From power market forecasting and power trading operations, through to strategic support, due diligence and deep customer research, we provide market leading data, intelligence, forecasts, and advice to support our clients with investment, strategy and business decisions.
  • You will be joining our Clean Energy Investment Advisory team. This team has been established with a specific remit to translate in depth research and market expertise to support clients investing in the energy transition, with a particular focus on the demand sector (for example, EV infrastructure, low carbon heating solutions, industrial and commercial decarbonisation, and flexible energy solutions).

What will you be doing? 

  • We are looking for a Clean Energy Investment Specialist with a demonstrable track record of delivering investment advisory work, ideally in the energy transition sector, to help grow the business.
  • You will have led on several due diligence projects and be able to lead a small delivery team, providing first class support to clients. In addition, you will either bring with you an established relationship network or demonstrate a keenness to help LCP Delta build that network and establish themselves as the go-to clean energy investment advisory practice.

We are keen to hear from a range of candidates, whether you are considering the next level in your career, with a more strategic role responsible for winning work and growing LCP Delta’s offering in this area, or someone with a proven track record, interested in cementing LCP Delta’s credentials in transaction advisory.

  • Leading assignments – Lead Commercial Due Diligence projects for clients looking to invest in the energy transition. You will be coordinating across subject matter experts throughout LCP Delta, and will be responsible for managing the quality of our work and ensuring that our work products delight our clients and meet their expectations.
  • Client relationship development and work winning – A key part of the role will be to grow and develop our existing client base, with a particular focus new client relationships, to support business development and winning work across the energy transition space.
  • Leadership – You will be expected to lead small project teams in delivering transaction and strategic advice with the potential to take on line-management of the team as it grows. From proposal through to delivery, you will collaborate with team members to develop tailored proposals and solutions that meet the specific needs of fund managers and investors, managing scope, budget and delivery of projects.

What skills, experience and qualities are we looking for?

  • You will have experience in providing investor support, such as strategic consultancy or Commercial Due Diligence services, preferably within the energy sector
  • Proven experience in managing multiple workstreams and delivering the full lifecycle of the project
  • Sectoral knowledge – You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of key market trends, competitive landscapes, business models and wider energy activity, enabling you to lead engagement with our clients and potential clients
  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate how they have supported business development and developed relationships within the sector
