BROOT Consulting is seeking a Client Acquisition Lead with a proven track record in securing high-value clients and building strategic relationships within consulting, customer experience (CX), and innovation sectors. This role is ideal for a proactive business developer who understands the consulting landscape and can drive sustainable growth through targeted client acquisition efforts.

Job Description

  • You’ll lead go-to-market efforts, manage the full client lifecycle from lead generation to conversion, and collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver tailored, high-impact solutions to partners and clients—particularly in the public sector and development space.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities aligned with BROOT’s consulting, CX, and innovation offerings.
  • Lead go-to-market and acquisition strategies that consistently meet or exceed growth targets.
  • Nurture and convert qualified leads into long-term partnerships with private, public, and donor-funded organizations.
  • Collaborate with internal consulting, creative, and research teams to develop and deliver tailored client solutions.
  • Stay on top of trends and opportunities in consulting, innovation, and public sector ecosystems to sharpen positioning.
  • Report performance insights and pipeline updates to senior leadership to support agile decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA or certifications in Strategy/Business Development are a plus).
  • At least 2 years of experience in business development or client acquisition, preferably in consulting, innovation, or development sectors.
  • Strong ownership mindset, with a bias for execution and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communicator with persuasive presentation, proposal development, and negotiation skills.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
  • Experience working with government or donor-funded programs is a strong advantage.
