Job Summary

• We are currently seeking a Collections Specialist to join our team.
• As a Collection Specialist , you will be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding debts from clients.

Your duties and responsibilities will include

• Contacting clients via phone, email, or in-person to collect outstanding debts
• Negotiating payment plans with clients who are unable to pay in full
• Updating client records and maintaining accurate account information
• Resolving client disputes and complaints related to outstanding debts
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure timely and accurate billing and invoicing
• Preparing and submitting reports on collections activities and progress.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 0-2 years of experience in collections or a similar role
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collections software.

Salary

• N78,000 monthly (plus insentives up to N20,000 depending on experience and qualifications).
