Job Summary

  • The Commercial Manager will play a crucial role in the success of our real estate business in Lekki by overseeing and managing all commercial activities.
  • This includes negotiating contracts, managing leases, analyzing market trends, and developing strategies to maximize revenue. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial real estate and a proven track record of successful negotiations.

Key Responsibilities
Lease and Contract Management:

  • Negotiate and manage commercial leases and contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Review and analyze lease terms and conditions to optimize financial outcomes.

Market Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Analyze competitors and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor changes in the real estate market and adjust strategies accordingly.

Revenue Optimization:

  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue from commercial properties.
  • Identify opportunities for rent increases, lease renewals, and new business development.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to attract and retain tenants.

Financial Management:

  • Prepare and manage budgets related to commercial properties.
  • Monitor financial performance and report on variances.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high-quality services.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, tenants, and other stakeholders.
  • Address tenant concerns and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Negotiation and Deal Structuring:

  • Negotiate favorable terms in contracts, leases, and agreements.
  • Structure and execute deals that align with the company’s objectives.
  • Work closely with legal counsel to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in commercial real estate management.
  • Strong negotiation and deal-making skills.
  • Excellent understanding of real estate market trends.
  • Familiarity with local and national real estate regulations.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
