Job Title: Communication Intern
Location: Maiduguri, Borno
The opportunity
- The Communications Intern will be responsible for assigned communications roles including supporting the execution of the organisation’s communications strategy, social media strategy, managing organisation’s prioritised social media channels – including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube and LinkedIn.
- S/he will liaise with the Communications Advisor in providing support for the different thematic functions at Plan International Nigeria on publications, social media, publicity & press relations to drive the advocacy arm of Plan International Nigeria.
About You
- We are looking for applicant with Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communications and Multi-media Design, Communication, Journalism, Mass Communication or Media and Society Studies or related field with at least one (1) year experience in the field.
- The candidate should be competent in providing creative design solutions, working directly with clients and delivering within budget and timescale. S/he should demonstrate proven experience/portfolio of using Adobe CS software, specifically Illustrator, In design, Photoshop and Fireworks.
- The candidate should have good experience working with IDPs, refugees and other vulnerable populations.
