Job Title: Community Manager

Location: Abuja (Remote)

Role Summary

  • We’re looking for a highly efficient and creative Community & Social Media Manager to oversee Nexcore’s social media presence across all platforms.
  • This role is focused on execution, speed, brand alignment, and driving audience engagement that converts to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all Nexcore social media accounts (Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook).
  • Plan and implement weekly content calendars with speed and consistency.
  • Create, post, and schedule engaging content (graphics, carousels, short videos, reels) aligned with brand messaging.
  • Monitor trends and adapt content strategy for relevance and reach.
  • Respond to all DMs, comments, and mentions within a 1–2 hour window during business hours.
  • Initiate and moderate community conversations across platforms.
  • Build and nurture an active, trusting audience that sees Nexcore as a go-to for immigration advisory.
  • Use tools like Buffer, Metricool, or Meta Business Suite to streamline scheduling and analytics.
  • Track engagement, growth, and lead generation from each channel.
  • Provide concise weekly reports on performance metrics and recommended adjustments.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all channels.
  • Work closely with the content team and founders to align posts with campaigns, service launches, or policy updates.
  • Collect and showcase testimonials, client wins, and FAQs in a branded, shareable format.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in social media/community management.
  • Strong content creation skills (graphics, captions, short-form videos).
  • Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, and scheduling tools.
  • Sharp communication skills and a strong grasp of digital tone and timing.
  • Ability to work independently with speed and minimal supervision.

Bonus if you have:

  • Knowledge of immigration or study/work abroad ecosystems.
  • Experience building social media for a startup or service-based business.
  • Comfort with front-facing video (e.g., voiceovers or appearing in reels/stories).

Salary

  • N80,000 Monthly.
