Job Title: Content Writer & Social Media Manager
Location: Lagos (Fully Remote)
Summary
- We’re seeking a creative and versatile Content Writer & Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging content across various digital platforms, with a focus on video production, social media, graphic design, and managing our social media presence.
Responsibilities
Content Creation:
- Write compelling and engaging content for blogs, social media, and email newsletters.
- Create and script video content for YouTube.
- Design and create visually appealing pins for Pinterest.
Social Media Management:
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Schedule and post content across various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.).
- Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and engagement opportunities.
- Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Email Marketing:
- Create and manage email marketing campaigns, including newsletters and promotional emails.
- Develop content that aligns with marketing goals and brand voice.
- Monitor and report on the performance of email campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Track and analyze the performance of content and social media campaigns.
- Provide regular reports on key metrics and performance indicators.
- Use data-driven insights to refine and improve content strategies.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in content writing and social media management.
- Excellent writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and management tools.
- Experience with SEO and content optimization.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms.
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate fresh content ideas.
