Job Title: Corporate Sales Executive

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

  • The Corporate Sales Executive will be responsible for promoting the General Foods and Sweets Manufacturing Ltd.’s Brand, developing strategic action plans to drive measurable and incremental sales revenue for the company by identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with corporate clients.
  • The role requires strategic planning, proactive outreach, and negotiation skills to drive measurable revenue growth through corporate partnerships and bulk business deals.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic action plans to achieve corporate sales targets which must be clearly communicated to employees to ensure everyone understands the role they will be playing in the implementation and execution.
  • Understand the brand’s offerings and craft customized proposals to meet corporate clients’ needs.
  • Proactively identify and engage potential corporate clients through direct sales, cold calls, and presentations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate entities, event organizers, and other potential B2B clients.
  • Deploy targeted marketing campaigns from ideation to execution, including email, direct mail, and social media strategies to attract corporate clients.
  • Manage a client database to track interactions, sales cycles, and relationship history.
  • Negotiate and close bulk orders, event catering contracts, and corporate meal plans.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Provide prompt responses to client inquiries and concerns, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Gather feedback from corporate clients to improve products, services, and customer experience.
  • Prepare and submit periodic sales and marketing activity reports to management.
  • Track sales performance against targets and provide actionable insights for improvement.
  • The Marketing Officer will Identify new markets and business opportunities and develop the target customer base.
  • S/he will be responsible for managing the restaurant’s reputation by being abreast of online and website reviews and countering negative posts.
  • Able to provide quick and timely responses to queries as well as develop professional long term business relationships.
  • S/he will target key account potentials for the company.
  • Will Build and develop relationships to strengthen and expand customer base for sales opportunities.
  • Will be responsible for preparing proposals and negotiating contracts.

Reporting:

  • Will prepare and submit to Management periodic Marketing and sales Report

KPI

  • Achievement of 90% or more of monthly B2B sales targets.
  • Timely submission of detailed sales and marketing reports.
  • Customer satisfaction rate of 95% or higher for corporate accounts.
  • Resolution of client complaints within 24 hours.
  • Successful onboarding of at least five new corporate clients per quarter.
  • Achieve minimum of 90% Sales target
  • Submission of monthly Sales and marketing activity report

Education and Experience

  • BSc / HND from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing or any related field
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in Sales and marketing preferably in the hospitality or food service industry.
  • Proven track record of B2B sales success

Key Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of corporate sales and business development.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to design and present customized proposals to meet client needs.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
  • Must have Marketing Communications and social media skills.
