Job Title: Credit Officer
Locations: Abuja (FCT) and Lagos
Responsibilities
Credit Analysis and Approval:
- Assess credit applications, perform risk assessments, and determine the creditworthiness of applicants.
- Ensure all credit products comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct periodic reviews of existing credit portfolios to manage and mitigate risks.
Product Development and Management:
- Develop new credit products and enhance existing ones based on market trends and customer needs.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations teams to launch and promote new credit products.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and provide appropriate credit solutions.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present regular reports on credit product performance, including key metrics, trends, and insights. ● Monitor and analyze market conditions, competitive landscape, and industry developments to inform product strategy.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure all credit operations comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with credit products.
Develop and Implement Strategies:
- Create and execute strategies to effectively promote credit products to target markets.
- Utilize market research and customer data to tailor strategies that maximize reach and impact.
Analyze Market Trends:
- Continuously monitor market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for new credit products.
- Conduct competitive analysis to keep our products ahead in the market.
Evaluate and Enhance Products:
- Regularly review and assess existing credit products to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement enhancements that improve customer satisfaction and product profitability.
