Job Overview

  • We’re looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team, ensuring that every interaction reflects our commitment to high-quality care.
  • The Customer Service Representative will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing them with clear information, assistance, and direction. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to handle various inquiries with empathy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients, families, and visitors upon arrival and provide assistance with questions, check-ins, and directions.
  • Answer incoming phone calls, respond to general inquiries and direct calls to the appropriate departments.
  • Assist patients with appointment scheduling, registration, and billing inquiries.
  • Handle patient concerns and complaints promptly, escalating issues to management as needed.
  • Communicate hospital policies and procedures to patients and visitors in a courteous manner.
  • Update patient records, contact information, and assist with the collection of necessary paperwork.
  • Collaborate with medical staff and other departments to ensure smooth patient flow and service delivery.
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive patient information in all interactions.
  • Support the hospital’s commitment to a welcoming and safe environment.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a customer service role, especially in a healthcare or medical setting, is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and a positive attitude.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with hospital management systems is beneficial.
  • Bilingual skills are an asset.
