Job Title: Customer Satisfaction Representative (CSR) – DOC
Locations: Uyo – Akwa Ibom, Delta and Enugu
Summary
- We seek a Customer Satisfaction Representative (CSR) to join our dynamic team in the South East & South region.
- This individual will serve as the front-line contact for customers, ensuring exceptional support and satisfaction throughout the DOC sales process.
Job Purpose
- To provide direct customer support for the sale and distribution of Day-Old Chicks in the region, ensuring seamless service delivery, timely communication, and a strong customer relationship experience from pre-order to post-delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact point for all DOC customer inquiries, orders, and complaints within the region.
- Ensure prompt and accurate handling of customer orders, confirming delivery details and tracking fulfillment.
- Maintain and grow strong relationships with both existing and new customers, including agents, distributors, and commercial farmers.
- Conduct periodic follow-ups with customers to assess satisfaction, resolve complaints, and support repeat business.
- Liaise with the Logistics and Sales teams to ensure timely and accurate dispatch and delivery of DOCs.
- Maintain detailed customer records and activity logs.
- Generate and submit weekly reports on customer feedback, sales trends, delivery performance, and complaints resolution.
- Monitor DOC quality issues and escalate complaints to technical or quality assurance teams when necessary.
- Educate customers on chick management best practices and offer support post-delivery to enhance survival and performance rates.
- Coordinate regional outreach or customer education programs as required.
- Represent the brand professionally across all engagements and field activities.
Educational Qualification & Experience
- Minimum of HND / B.Sc in Agriculture, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Marketing, or related discipline.
- 2 – 3 years of experience in agricultural sales, or poultry-related operations.
- Experience in managing customer relationships with farmers (preferably in agriculture sector).
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal communication
- Good understanding of poultry production (especially DOC)
- Sales and order management
- Complaint handling and conflict resolution
- Basic knowledge of CRM or data entry tools
- Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to speak at least one major South Eastern or South South language is an added advantage
- Willingness to travel frequently within the region.
