Job Title: Customer Service Assistant (NYSC Intern)

Location: Ajah, Lagos

Job Summary

  • The Customer Service Assistant will be the primary point of contact for customers across various channels, including social media, WhatsApp, email, and phone calls.
  • This role requires excellent communication skills, technical proficiency, and a customer-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Multi-Channel Support: Respond to customer inquiries, take orders and resolve issues via social media, WhatsApp, email, and phone calls.
  • Order Management: Scoop orders from the website (training provided), whatsapp , Instagram direct message and ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Logistics Follow-up: Track orders, follow up with logistics partners, and resolve delivery delays or issues.
  • WhatsApp Status Updates: Manage and update the business WhatsApp status to reflect promotions, offers, and important updates.
  • Store Ambiance: Maintain a welcoming and organized store ambiance that reflects our brand image.
  • Product Education: Educate customers on our products, features, and benefits to enable informed purchasing decisions.
  • Sales and Upselling: Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products, and persuade customers to make purchases or upgrades.

Requirements

  • Must be living within Badore, Ajah and it environment.
  • Recent Graduate or NYSC Batch A stream 2 Corp Member
  • Candidates should possess HND / Bachelor’s Degrees in Marketing, Mass Communication or a related field
  • 0- 3years relevant experience as a Customer Service Assistant or similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Tech-savvy with experience in social media, WhatsApp, and email support
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Customer-centric approach with a focus on resolving issues and building relationships
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer service or a related field
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (WordPress Website Back End)
  • Basic knowledge of product features and benefits (training provided for specific products).
