Cyber Security Instructor at Cirvee

Role Description

• We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Cybersecurity Instructor to join our growing team at Cirvee. This is a part-time, 3 times a week on-site role at our Ibadan campus.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Designing and delivering engaging cybersecurity training sessions (lectures, workshops, and hands-on labs).
• Creating and updating instructional materials, practical projects, and assessments.
• Mentoring and guiding students, fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
• Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback.
• Staying up to date with industry trends, tools, and threats to ensure course relevance.
• Collaborating with the curriculum team to improve content and delivery.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Solid expertise in Application Security, Network Security, Malware Analysis, and Information Security principles.
• Strong practical knowledge of ethical hacking, threat detection, incident response, and security protocols.
• Excellent communication and teaching skills; ability to simplify complex concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.(optional but a plus)
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent (preferred).
• Prior experience in teaching, training, or curriculum development is a strong advantage.
• Must be self-motivated, adaptable, and committed to student success.
