Job Title: Dental Officer (Entry Level)

Locations: Surulere, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities

Patient Care & Clinical Services:

  • Deliver comprehensive dental consultations, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
  • Perform routine procedures including, fillings, extractions, and other general dentistry services
  • Ensure high-quality patient experience, comfort, and follow-up care.

Digital Dentistry Integration:

  • Utilize intraoral scanners, digital X-rays, and AI-based planning tools for diagnostics and treatments.
  • Support the clinic’s shift to fully digital workflows (including aligners and cosmetic treatments).

Case Documentation & Compliance:

  • Maintain accurate and timely digital patient records and case reports using our EMR platform
  • Adhere strictly to clinic protocols, MDCN regulations, infection control, and sterilization standards.

Learning & Development:

  • Actively participate in internal CPD sessions, mentorship programs, and online training provided by the clinic.
  • Pursue certifications and learning aligned with clinical interest (e.g., orthodontics, prosthodontics, implantology).

Team Collaboration & Communication:

  • Collaborate with other dental officers, nurses, hygienists, and front-desk staff for seamless patient care.
  • Participate in morning reviews, team meetings, and inter-departmental planning.

Patient Engagement & Brand Support:

  • Educate patients on oral health, home care, and preventive practices.
  • Occasionally participate in clinic campaigns, patient education content, and outreach programs.

Performance Tracking & Career Development:

  • Maintain performance standards in line with the clinic’s KPI framework.
  • Work toward career advancement targets through self-motivation and results.

Qualifications

  • BDS-qualified, fully licensed by the MDCN
  • Completed NYSC (compulsory)
  • 0–3 years post-NYSC experience
  • Passion for digital dentistry and continuous learning
  • Strong clinical and communication skills
  • Willingness to grow through clearly defined career stages (from Entry-Level to Branch Head).
