Vanguard Media Limited, the publishers of Vanguard Newspapers, was founded in 1984 by Mr. Sam Amuka, a highly esteemed and veteran journalist known for his renowned column Sad Sam Fame. Prior to establishing Vanguard, Sam Amuka had an illustrious career as the editor of Sunday Times and also served as the first Managing Director of the Punch Newspaper.
