1). Relationship Manager, Premier Banking

Location: Lagos

  • To deliver high quality service while selling the bank’s products and services and implementing customer retention approach to managing client relationships to enhance product sales and new client growth targets. To deliver on agreed individual targets for deposit growth, revenue, PBT, product sales and new client growth targets. Work with EDC to provide wealth management services to customers.

JOB CONTEXT

  • This position is responsible for driving the Premier Banking Business downstream and reaching out and interacting with Premier Banking Customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business and Financial performance

  • Proactively develop client relationship, anticipate, and provide solutions to client needs and give high priority to client satisfaction, with responsibility for meeting or exceeding agreed performance targets and objectives.
  • Ensure that client instructions are duly affected by applying all standard checks and controls in coordination with other departments.
  • Achieve a satisfactory level of knowledge of Premier Banking products and services by keeping up to date with related developments.
  • Strong understanding of economics and financial markets, focusing on the fixed income and equity space, as well as developments and trends in the global wealth management sector

Customer Excellence 

  • Handle client queries of day-to-day nature and assist in resolving clients’ problems within the team
  • Implement and embody the bank’s RACE-IT culture and principles when dealing with customers

Leadership and people management

  • Track and provide weekly reports on Portfolio performance at RM level
  • Team Player – collaborates with other RMs within the segment for increased productivity.
  • Work closely in line with the Branch & Operations Team to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Process, control, and operational performance
  • Ensure full adherence to Operational Risk and Compliance guidelines e.g., KYC and anti-money laundering measures.
  • Constantly monitor credit portfolio to ensure maximum of 3% NPL. If higher, take remedial actions to regularize.

2). Relationship Manager, Advantage Banking

Location: Lagos

  • This position is responsible for driving the Advantage Banking Business downstream and reaching out to Customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business and Financial performance

  • Complete credit and loan documentations, research and evaluate loan applicant financial status, references, credit, and ability to repay the loan, also ensure that standards and credit policies of the bank are respected and strictly followed
  • Prepare statement on delinquent accounts and forward irreconcilable accounts for loan recovery actions.
  • Ensure all fees and commissions on consummated transactions are taken by other units of the branch
  • Ensure full re-activation of dormant accounts in line with policies and KYC
  • Promptly process new investment request   for customers, liquidation request and dispatch of all investment certificates at the branch level.
  • Effective and constant monitory of advantage customer’s account with a view to beefing up same
  • Maintains expert knowledge of data protection law and practices, and other professional qualities to ensure that Ecobank complies with the data protection requirements and relevant NDPR compliance guidelines.
  • Liaison with those responsible for risk management and security issues within the Bank.
  • The interpretation and application of the various exemptions applicable to the processing of personal data.

3). Team Lead, Agency & Direct Banking

Location: Lagos

To support Regional Manager Agency & Direct Banking in driving the growth and profitability of Agency Banking and Direct Banking businesses and execute all strategic management objectives/initiatives of these business lines. To Coordinate & monitor the activities of the Agency Banking and Direct fixed and variable pay DSAs within the region for optimal achievement of overall targets of the businesses.

JOB CONTEXT

  • The Team Lead is responsible for strategic business development, revenue generation, efficiency improvement, profitability, customer centricity, and overall business process management and leadership in the Region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business and Financial performance

  • Meet and exceed set targets of all Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss items such as deposit, revenue, fees, and commission etc for Agency & Direct Banking businesses.
  • Drive key retail alliances and partnerships at the regional level to grow our distribution network through Agency Banking.
  • Achieve all set business ratios such as CASA/Deposit ratio, Deposit mix, Loan/Deposit, NPL Ratio, Cost-to-Income ratio etc.
  • Coordinate direct field sales and acquisition of agents as well as mandatory agents monitoring nationwide to drive the projected transactions volumes and values.
  • Identify and drive NTB customer acquisition target and other KPIs across the sub-segments within Agency Banking & Direct Banking.
  • Meet and exceed set Product Sale and Cross Sell targets for Liability Products, Alternate Channel product offerings & Cards for the region.

  • Acquire and manage quality agents, merchants and customers on the Ecobank payment platform, based on standard documentation from the potential client in line with regulatory requirements.
