Job Description

  • Our brand is renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship and timeless appeal, serving fashion-conscious parents who prioritize both style and quality. We are in search of an ambitious, strategic, and innovative E-commerce Manager to lead the growth of the e-commerce channel at Ruff ‘n’ Tumble. This role reports directly to the CEO.
  • As the E-commerce Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our omni-channel objectives. This involves optimizing the performance of our website, enhancing the overall customer experience, and achieving the sales targets established in our budget. Your role will also encompass gathering and analyzing data and customer feedback to enhance the conversion funnel and collaborating closely with our product and marketing teams to fully realize the potential of our products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Lead E-commerce Strategy: Formulate and guide the execution of a comprehensive e-commerce strategy that aligns seamlessly with our company’s business objectives.
  • Achieve Sales Targets: Assume full responsibility for attaining our monthly e-commerce sales targets by meticulously monitoring sales performance, identifying trends, and proposing strategies to bolster sales and enhance customer engagement.
  • Optimize Website Maintenance: Oversee the continual maintenance and optimization of our website to improve the overall customer journey, ensuring a seamless and premium online shopping experience. This entails supervising pertinent teams (e-commerce, technology, marketing, etc.) to drive the development and implementation of enhancement strategies.
  • Collaborate for Growth: Collaborate closely with our Brand, Marketing, and Commercial teams to boost online revenue by crafting top-tier content, product descriptions, and category landing pages. Ensure synchronized activities when executing digital campaigns.
  • Inventory Oversight: Keep a vigilant eye on online inventory levels, conducting regular audits to guarantee the accuracy and up-to-dateness of all product information and pricing.
  • Exceptional Customer Service: Partner with various internal teams, including inventory management and logistics, to provide exceptional customer service. This encompasses prompt order processing, timely product delivery, and swift and satisfactory responses to customer inquiries.
  • Track and Report Metrics: Utilize analytics tools to track and report on e-commerce key performance indicators (KPIs), including sales, conversion rates, and customer retention.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Educational Background: Possess at least a Bachelor’s degree from a reputable higher institution.
  • E-commerce Experience: Bring to the table a minimum of 3 years of experience in managing e-commerce operations end-to-end for a consumer brand.
  • Analytical Skills: Demonstrate strong business acumen with the ability to monitor performance metrics and make data-driven decisions.
  • Analytical Tools: Show proficiency in A/B testing and analytics using tools such as Google Analytics.
  • E-commerce Platforms: Have experience with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce.
  • Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills with an exceptional attention to detail.
  • SEO Knowledge: Possess knowledge of SEO best practices and the ability to optimize product listings accordingly.
  • Leadership Abilities: Display strong leadership abilities and effective team management skills.
  • E-commerce Enthusiast: Be a self-starter with a passion for e-commerce and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends.
