Title: Entry Level Accountant
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Functions
- Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analysing account information.
- Document financial transactions by entering account information.
- Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.
- Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.
- Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.
- Verify, allocate posts and reconcile transactions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in accounting.
- 1-2 years Post-NYSC experience
- Must possess strong analytical skills.
- Financial / commercial management exposure in a financial institution.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to assess and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office applications, especially MS-Excel.
- Knowledge of codes and standards as well as safety and regulatory requirements.
Remuneration
- Average Gross Monthly Pay (N250,000)
- Applicable Incentives and Bonus on Quarterly Company Goals and Objectives Performance
