Job Title: Entry-Level HR Assistant
Location: Niger
Employment Type: Full-time
Reporting To: AGM HR
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate recruitment logistics: drafting job adverts, screening CVs, scheduling interviews and conducting reference checks
- Maintain and update personnel files, contracts, on-boarding checklists and HRIS entries
- Support induction programs: prepare welcome packs, facilitate orientation sessions and track completion
- Handle day-to-day office administration—travel bookings, meeting room setup, supply orders and internal communications
- Assist with payroll preparation by compiling attendance data and benefits information
- Support ad-hoc HR projects: staff surveys, wellness initiatives and end-of-year celebrations
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology or related field with 1–2 years in HR & administrative support roles
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic familiarity with HRIS
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization and multitasking ability
- Strong interpersonal skills and a service-oriented mindset
- Curiosity, eagerness to learn and a positive, can-do attitude
- Willingness to relocate and contribute to our Niger State operations
Desirable:
- Internship or volunteer experience in HR, recruitment or office administration
- Exposure to basic payroll or benefits administration
