Title: Entry-Level Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist

Overview
- We are looking for an SEO Specialist that is an enthusiastic, passionate SEO specialist to own the project execution and analysis that helps drive a best-in-class search strategy across our business.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Head of Growth on our link-building strategy to drive increases in domain authority across our different domains.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and analysis
- Daily monitor key SEO and business KPIs
- Manage our team of writers and execute content briefs for our blog & website
- Manage our local SEO and GMB strategy
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in search engine optimization
- Own reporting and analysis of performance metrics and regularly share them with the greater team
- Help promote SEO awareness and best practices across the organization including educating stakeholders
- Conduct routine technical SEO audits, increase page speed, and overall site health, manage on-site SEO to improve rankings and conversions, develop internal link building strategy, and optimize top content to improve rankings and conversions
- Perform keyword research and competitive analysis
- Understand and implement technical SEO audits and changes
- Execute on-page optimizations
- Manage content production by planning content calendars, managing writers (or collaborate with content writing teams), and supporting them on SEO
- Devise and execute methods to track, report, analyze and improve SEO performance
- Collaborate with SEO managers and other in-house marketing teams (e.g. paid marketing)
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to implement necessary features and changes
- Constantly develop new SEO tests and strategies
- Present and communicate SEO strategies and projects to clients and/or internal stakeholders
- Serve as the key SEO expert/advocate
- Keep up-to-date with latest SEO trends, strategies and algorithm changes.
Requirements
- At least 3+ years of prior experience working in SEO
- Good understanding of SEO best practices
- Passion for SEO and internet marketing
- Ability to create, justify, communicate, and implement SEO strategies across teams and external agencies
- Data-driven and analytical mindset
- Attention to detail
- Project management skills.
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience working with SEO tools (e.g. Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, SEMRush)
- Experience and/or understanding of code (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience and/or understanding of other marketing channels (e.g. PPC)
- Experience working with CMS’
- Experience with technical SEO
- Excellent writing skills.
