Job Overview

  • We are seeking an Entry-Level Social Media Manager to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing our social media presence across various platforms. You will collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content, engage with the online community, and analyze social media performance.

Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Develop and execute a content calendar for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Community Engagement: Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across social media channels, ensuring timely and professional engagement.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track social media performance and create regular reports, making recommendations based on data insights.
  • Brand Management: Ensure consistent use of brand voice, messaging, and visual identity across all social media platforms.
  • Campaign Support: Assist in the planning and execution of paid social media campaigns to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date on social media trends, tools, and best practices, incorporating them into social media strategy.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Strong written communication skills with an eye for detail and creativity.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
  • Basic knowledge of social media analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Creativity and enthusiasm for generating content that engages and excites an online audience.
  • A strong understanding of digital marketing or social media marketing principles is a plus.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing social media accounts or campaigns (even at an internship or personal project level).
  • Familiarity with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing strategies.
  • Experience with scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar).
