Job Title: Facility Manager

Location: Sabo – Yaba, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Brief

  • In this position, the Facility Manager will take a lead in reaching goals and objectives related to leasing, housekeeping, productivity, profitability, branding, among other areas.
  • To report to the Mall Business manager.

Responsibilities
The Job holder would be required to carry out the following responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership for management and staff of the Facility,
  • Account for the leasing (long-term and temporary) of shops in the facility,
  • Responsible for the negotiation of contract terms,
  • Budgeting and monthly financial analysis and reporting,
  • Tenant and public relations, and operational issues; all with the goal of maximizing the asset value of the property,
  • Be involved in the development and implementation of the mall marketing program and community public relations,
  • Develop an Annual Event Calendar for the Facility,
  • Responsible for on site management of Events,
  • Enhance the facility ambience,
  • Develop and upkeep the Mall identity; ensure adherences to corporate brand guidelines,
  • Take steps to improve customer services inside the mall,
  • Look out for strategic partnerships to make the mall a more happening place,
  • Facility management of infrastructure, traffic and ambience management,
  • Write reports on business operations for the executive staff,
  • Assist in the personal and professional development of the Facility staff.
  • Ensure that all front-line staff expresses authenticity, professionalism and actual concern for the happiness and wellbeing or the customers.

Requirements

  • Applicant should have a minimum qualification of B.SC/ HND or an education/experience combination in the areas of Marketing, Hospitality, Business Administration, Real Estate (Leasing), Property Management and/or Retail Management
  • 3 – 6 years relevant work experience.
  • Understanding of business administration principles is key.
  • The Facility Manager position will require a cognate experience of 5 years and above with extensive experience in managing hotels/ shopping malls, attract record of balancing general duties as well as marketing.
  • Good personality and excellent command of English, strong organization, public relations and management skills.
