Job Title: Fertility Nurse Trainee

Job Description
- The Fertility Nurse Trainee will support the delivery of comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing fertility treatments.
- This role involves hands-on learning across all aspects of fertility care—from preparing patients for procedures to assisting with post-treatment follow-ups—under the supervision of experienced fertility nurses and medical staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Document scheduled procedures on the theatre list.
- Assist in delivering and recording patients’ pre-operative and post-operative care.
- Ensure examination rooms and theatres are adequately stocked with necessary clinical supplies.
- Prepare the scan room and theatre for examinations and procedures.
- Coordinate with the pharmacy and assist patients in obtaining medications.
- Update both hard and soft copies of patient treatment summaries.
- Assist in updating patient records post-treatment (e.g. scan findings, clinical observations such as monocyte recovery, etc.).
Requirements
- Must be a certified Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Midwife, with a valid license to practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a clinical setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and people management skills.
- Must be a resident of Warri, Delta State or its environs
